POBA was established as a public welfare institution to help stabilize the daily lives of local government officials and improve their welfare conditions. Since its establishment in 1952 as the Korea Local Administration Association, POBA has been newly created as the Korea Local Administration Official Mutual Fund in 1975. In 1990, the Korea Local Administration Mutual Aid Association Act was established. With continuous interest and support from our members, POBA has sustained a stable development throughout the years. By reaching 280,000 members and a fund surpassing 12 trillion won, we have grown into a multi-faceted public welfare institution that greatly helps local government officials. Our homepage aims to be at the forefront of transparent business management by revealing the management status, fund management and other business data of the association. Also, by listening to the diverse opinions of our members, we’ll become the center of all participation. Furthermore, we promise to expand our role as a two-way communication network for our 280,000 members.
